We’ve put a lot of effort in making a promomovie Clash of the (dancing) cultures – What moves are you gonna make?

They will show their movie Bits&Pieces3. They recently got selected for the Canvas Collection with the movie ‘What about American history’.

What is Frank & Robbert? Frank & Robbert is young vibrant vitality. Eager to dive into the world and all that it has to offer. What we do as artists is not only look at the world (in a new way), but also interact with the world (in a new way). The world and all of it’s layers are a game.

Like Freddy Mercury already stated so enthusiastically ‘Play the game!’ Play the game of love… of understanding… of destruction… of perception… of creation… of art. What you see is not what you get. Our world, so full of images, so full of distraction, of illusion, so full of media, of people, of thought. We can not sit back and let it all wash over our brains. We need the take the time and the responsibility to look it back right in the eyes, pierce trough the first layers and make the inner erupt into the outer. We cannot do this by watching from the sideline. No, the world is there, right in front of us, all we have to do is grab it, feel how it kicks and wriggles. Feel and look longer, stronger. Then try stuff. Make it real, make it kick and wriggle, like it never did before. And use your goddamn imagination.

Frank&Robbert met each other in high school when they were 15 years old. They didn’t notice each other at first. But they grew together. When they decided to follow the same college courses in 2007, they couldn’t help but start making things together. To cluster their powers. Because in a weird, but very natural way they are fascinated by the same things but are in fact opposite personalities. It’s a ‘melange’ that works. Their friendship is the basis for their art, and their art is what makes up the largest part of their live.

Unfortunately Shy Fx has cancelled his performance at Clash of the Cultures. We worked hard to present you, not one but two replacements.
The legendary Dj Die will honour us with a visit, along with Moving Fusion. Be sure they’ll be dropping some heavy dnb rollers.
